Who expected Hurricane Ike to reach Louisville? I know I sure didn't!

Sweet Surrender did lose power for a couple of days but we'll be fully up and running again on Wednesday, September 16th at 8 AM. Lunch will be served from 11 AM to 2 PM, as usual. And we'll remain open until 10 PM.

We have plenty of outlets for you to recharge your cell phones and laptops as you enjoy a bottomless cup of coffee.

We did lose some cake, but we also salvaged quite a bit by donating cakes to the Louisville Fire Fighters, who were amazingly helpful during the outtage. I knew that Fire Fighters save lives but I never expected them to also help save cakes! They were awesome!

I hope everyone is weathering the blackouts as easily as possible.
